Heavy Showers Then Drier. Warm.

Friday
Further spells of sunshine and warm and humid conditions are expected on Friday but this will also trigger the development of some further heavy and thundery showers through the day. At the moment Wales, Midlands up into N England and parts of S Scotland perhaps primarily at risk through the afternoon with torrential downpours and perhaps some severe weather at times too. Highs 16C to 24C.

Friday Night
Heavy and thundery showers across some inland areas may well persist well into Friday evening before gradually dying away overnight. Many areas then becoming mainly dry with clear spells and variable cloud while some mist and murky conditions may develop especially where there has been daytime showers. A mild or warm night for most. Lows 11C to 16C.

Saturday
Sunshine and a few scattered heavy afternoon showers are possible during Saturday at the moment, most of the showers focused across more inland areas of central and northern UK. The showers will be 'hit and miss' and many regions will miss them and experience a mainly dry day. Winds light and variable and still warm or regionally very warm. Highs 16C to 23C.

Sunday
Into Sunday and it is high pressure that is forecast to become the dominant feature of the weather once again building into the UK from the west during the day. Many areas, as a result, will experience a mainly dry day with some bright or sunny spells, these perhaps prolonged and with just a low risk of an isolated heavy afternoon shower across some southern and eastern areas. Still warm or very warm inland, but cooler in the east as a N or NE'ly wind develops. Highs 16C to 23C.
